The Arxeriz Pazo is located in Ribeira Sacra, in Saviñao, parish of Fión, in a 30 hectares estate with a wonderful situation in the bank of the Miño River. The museum is composed of the equipped halls inside the 17th century pazo and series of popular architecture buildings located inside the estate.

Inside the pazo cthe traditional kitchen with the hearth, furniture and utensils are displayed. On the other hand, the events hall is being set up as a reference for castro culture to expose the archaeological remains found in the successive campaigns.

The Ribeira hall shows a general vision of the land covered by the courses of the Miño and Sil rivers, as the flows along Ribeira Sacra. To that end, there is a scale model representing the archaeological patrimony and the most important civil and religious architecture, The model also showcases the land flooded by the resevoirs, the different landscapes, villages, transports, and ways of life, traditions and memories that were overtaken by the process.

In the traditional winegrowing hall the old tools and instruments used by the locals (with great winegrowing experience) for elaborating wine the traditional and artisanal way.

Sticking to the view of the area where the museum is located, there are two halls devoted to fluvial culture, with an exhibition of local ships from the Miño, Sil and Cabe rivers.

The visit ends up with a tour through the estate in order to know the constructions adjoining the pazo: chapel, horreo (corn crib), cabaceiro (local granary), pigeon loft, ovens, straw loft, plot or the farmyard. The tour continues to the castro (where the first archaeological excavation campaign took place in 2013), including a tasting available for visits to finish up with the panoramic views of the fluvial bank - which are just breath-taking.
